Sophus3 will be holding a half day event specifically designed for automotive Captive Banks. This is an extension of our hugely successful annual Digital Automotive Forum – which brings together digital marketing and CRM executives of 30 auto brands participating in sophus’ eDataXchange project.
The Automotive Captive Bank Forum will take place on September 28th 2017 at the Sofitel Arc de Triomphe, Paris. We expect executives responsible for marketing, digital, CRM and business development from Automotive Captive Banks across the big 5 European markets to attend.
As OEMs start shifting from manufacturers to service providers and digital retail businesses, the landscape for the Captive Banks is changing too. Whereas the role of Captive Banks has mainly been to offer financing solutions to help boost OEM sales, they have however also provided OEMs with a high level of operating margin. Going forward they will increasingly need to be more customer centric in their financial service offerings and focus on new services. What digital intelligence tells us today about the automotive consumer journey and the role of finance content will be just one topic of discussion at the forum. The future of automotive financial services in a mobility services context will be another.
