THE SOPHUS3 FORUM / Introduction

The theme for this year’s event is based around the successive waves of disruption that are reshaping the automotive market, undermining many of the industry’s certainties that have persisted for decades. Digital is key to this in every area:  marketing, awareness and service delivery.

Because these shifts are happening more quickly than many expected, the forum will discuss the new approaches by different car brands. Will they partner with digital giants like Apple or Google, shift traditional go-to- market models by selling direct, collaborate with existing mobility service providers such as Uber, innovate with data connectivity services, or invest in a driverless car future?

At the centre of all these approaches, is a digitally driven ever increasing intimacy with their consumers. Car brands will need to offer not just a personalized car, but a personalised service and experience in whatever shape it may be.

We expect 150 executives from auto brands and their key agencies to attend.  To reserve your place please click on the registration button, a confirmation email and further event information will be emailed to you.

The Sophus annual eDX Forum brings together digital marketing and CRM executives of auto brands for a one day forum. The event is centred around our eDataXchange programme, which was setup in 2003  as a data sharing project to provide auto brands with a better understanding of their digital marketing performance.

30 auto brands are now sharing their online data in eDataXchange in the major European car markets, making it the industry’s leading digital market intelligence provider. Sophus3 tracks visitor click stream data across competitive digital touchpoints and supplies the brands with key online behavioural data on brand websites and social media channels, as well as insight on market trends, customer preferences and marketing impact.

The objective of the Sophus3 Forum is always to share knowledge and digital marketing best practice.
